Problems that occur in junior high schools, especially class VII, are still many students who feel and experience boredom in learning mathematics. Abstract subjects such as mathematics and loaded with cognitive content, require students to work hard using specific strategies to learn them. These characteristics often make it difficult for students to learn Mathematics. This difficulty can lead to boredom in learning mathematics which can also have an impact on learning outcomes and a decrease in students’ mathematical reasoning abilities, the problem occurs because of a lack of effectiveness in learning.
Given the importance of introducing basic concepts, it is best to introduce mathematics to students in such a way that the students who decide to know more. Here the teacher is a facilitator and guides for his students by discovering the mathematical concepts themselves. The teacher’s attitude should be more open, friendly to students, and still respected by students. Thus students are not awkward and easy to communicate with the teacher in other words to build teacher chemistry and friendly students.
